SAMURAI INTERNATIONAL RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB
Samurai International RFC was founded in 1996 when founder Terry Sands was asked to enter a team into the 25th anniversary of the Amsterdam 7s tournament. The team applied for and eventually received the required approvals from the Rugby Football Union and they were set to travel!
The team took the tournament by storm with their professional attitude and striking kit leading to an excellent tournament victory at their first attempt.
Immediately after this famous victory the Rugby Club was officially formed, with a formal Club committee based in the County of Suffolk.
Samurai International RFC are affiliated to Eastern Counties R.U. and Kent R.U.
